Dolly Dearest II is an American 1992 horror film starring Candace Hutson and Chris Demetral. The film is a sequel to the 1991 horror film Dolly Dearest.
Summary[]
While a now-adult Jessica is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, her young son Jimmy Wadee is placed in foster care, and Dolly, determined to claim Jimmy's soul, is not far behind.
On September 17, 1994, Dolly is Burned by Jessica. He survives his wounds and escapes into the night. Wandering the alleys, he steals a kitchen knife from an elderly couple and kills the teenage girl next door. Meanwhile, Jessica Wade, who narrowly avoided being killed that night, is taken to California Memorial Hospital while Jimmy continues his pursuit of Dolly, accompanied by Sheriff Leigh Brown. Elliot mistakes costumed teenager Dan Marker for Dolly, resulting in Dan being hit by a police car and burning to death. The bodie of the Maid are discovered by the police at residence of the Wallace. Upon learning his daughter has been killed by Dolly, Sheriff Brown blames Elliot and abandons the search, leaving Deputy Garrel Hoters to take his place.
At the hospital, a Paramedic Takes care to Jessie, but head The nurse limits the time he spends with her. After hearing a newsflash revealing Jessie's location, Dolly makes his way to the hospital, where he cuts the phone lines, disables all the cars in the parking lot, slashes all the cars’ tires so no one could escape and call for help. Wandering the halls in search of Jessica, he kills the security guard, the doctor, paramedic, and several nurses throughout the night. In her hospital room, Jessica dreams about the time she learned she was adopted, and remembers she once visited a young Dolly at the sanitarium. Jimmy and The nurse grow increasingly concerned when they discover that more & more staff have gone missing through out the night and search the hospital for Jessie, who is trying to evadeDolly. As The nurse tries to start the car to drive to the sheriff’s department, but it fails to start and she sees that all the car’s tires in the parking lot have been slashed.
After finding Mistress Smith dead, strapped to a gurney with an empty IV needle in her arm draining all of her blood out of her body and as Jimmy turns to run to go for help he slips in a pool of her blood and knocks himself unconscious, giving himself a concussion. Meanwhile, police are informed that Dolly broke into the local elementary school earlier. Elliot rides with them. His colleague Marion Chambers arrives to escort him back to Smith's Grove on the governor's orders and under the enforcement of a US Marshal. On the way, she tells him that Jessica is Dolly's younger Gal; she was put up for adoption after the death of Jessica's Uncles, with the records sealed to protect the family.
Realizing that Dolly is after Jessica and being told she was brought to California Memorial Hospital, Loomis forces the marshal at gunpoint to drive Arrives to California. The Nurse finally finds Jessica, only to be killed by Dolly, who then pursues Jessie through the hospital. She manages to escape to the parking lot and hides in a car. Jimmy regains consciousness and soon arrives and tries to start & drive the car to safety, but passes out again due to the concussion sustained from the slip n fall causing the horn to blare, attracting Dolly's attention. George Loomis, Mardon, and the marshal reach the hospital just in time to save Jessie. Elliot shoots Dolly until he falls down, seemingly dead. While Marion calls the police on the marshal's radio, the marshal tries to check Dolly's pulse as George Loomis warns him to stay away, knowing he isn't dead. Dolly revives and slits the marshal's throat with a scalpel.
Outside, Jimmy holds up a gun and tells him not to move just as Lieutenant Federick arrives and orders her to drop her weapon. Before he can arrest Jessica and Jimmy for the murders, he sees Dolly yelling and moving around in his open grave. In the confusion, Jimmy takes Elliot's gun and shoots Dolly multiple times. With Chucky finally dead, Preston calls the police to tell them that Jessica and Jimmy are innocent, clearing them of the murder charges. As the couple walk home, he looks at Dolly's body and is pokes her to make sure she's dead. Suddenly, Dolly springs to life screaming as a bloody, screeching, and Dolly yet not dead, Dolly attacks Mister Frederick.
